About Breakwave
Breakwave is a Pomodoro timer that helps you focus together with others.

How it works

Breakwave runs in synchronized Pomodoro cycles. Everyone in the global session follows the same timer:

  • Focus Phase: Work or study for 25 minutes
  • Break Phase: Take a 5-minute break and chat with others

The Continue Button

During break chat, you can click the "Continue" button on someone's message to invite them to a private focus room for the next session. This creates a private room where only you and that person will focus together.

  • Click "Continue" on a message from someone you'd like to focus with
  • They'll see a notification and can accept your invitation
  • If accepted, you'll both be redirected to a private room
  • Private rooms expire after 24 hours of inactivity
